Obama And Mathematics: What Doesn't Add Up

Mathematics is one of those stubborn truths that cannot be disguised into a program that doesn’t add up.  During the 1980’s, Ronald Reagan proposed his economic plan in four concise bullets:

  1. Reduce the growth of government spending,
  2. Reduce income and capital gains marginal tax rates,
  3. Reduce government regulation of the economy,
  4. Control the money supply to reduce inflation.

On the contrary, the Obama Health Care plan doesn’t have any bullets that anyone can quantify as not raising the national debt beyond what we can afford.  Although Obama claims that his plan will not add to the deficit.  However, the numbers don’t add up.  And there are no bullets, no concise message, to quantify a program that plans to spend money without any measurable metrics.

And as I have said over and over again, I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits – period. This plan will be paid for. The middle-class will realize greater security, not higher taxes. And if we can successfully slow the growth of health care costs by just one-tenth of one percent each year, it will actually reduce the deficit by $4 trillion over the long term.

The numbers show an increase in government spending.  Already, since Obama took office the amount of government spending hasn’t decreased, its increased to alarming levels.  With the TARP program spending, the UAW workers bailout and the Insurance bailout.  UAW bailout?  What does that mean, I thought it was the GM bailout.  NO, it was the Unions bailout.  That’s why they were not worried when GM was going into bankruptcy.  They knew Obama would bail them out.

I ask you Americans, would you purchase a GM vehicle today?  Me, I’ve been burnt too many times by GM to even consider them as a business that cares about its customers.  Rush Limbaugh advertises GM on his show, and that’s OK, it still doesn’t change my opinion.  But that’s another story for another time.

Right now, it’s about Health Care.  That’s the real story.  If a Public Option were to become law.  It would become like Social Security, like Medicare, like Medicaid, and like the Veterans Health Administration.  Set aside the Veterans Health Administration for a moment.  Government run programs have NEVER worked.  The debt ceiling for these programs have crashed through the roof.  There is no house to stand in anymore.

Political Math gives a reasonable idea of how Mandatory and Discretionary Spending will work.

It’s important for everyone to understand what’s at stake.

This kind of spending is out of control.  It is massive.  It is destructive.  It will make the American People Slaves to the State.  This is not what the Founding Fathers Fought For.  It is not what the American People Deserve.

912 was a calling, a beginning, a reason for rational people to take our country back.

It’s Time For The Adults To Be In Charge. AGAIN!
